In October of 1998 we debuted the play "Soldiers in Gray, A Musical Journey"  in Andersonville, GA. We had no idea what was in store for us and the "heritage journey" we were about to begin. If you have seen the play, you know what I mean when I say it will touch your "gray blood". Since the play was written through letters, diaries, and facts of the war, it is their words, not the opinions of others which you hear during "Soldiers in Gray, A Musical Journey". In 2008 we will present our 200th performance and we need to move to the next step.

Our dream and goal was to work for five years, see if we could maintain a living and still be on the road every weekend sharing our Southern Heritage with others. I had a full time "job" and Cathy is a freelance Graphic Artist. In 2000 I started this "heritage journey" full time and have never regretted that decision. Thus far we have released five CD/tapes and a book, "TimeLight, a Journey into the Past". The most rewarding part for both of us is the school programs we perform while we are in town for the play or a program. From the start, we have offered a flag/music program for schools and other groups. Seeing the faces of those kids and their hunger to learn about this time in American History makes us strive to do more.

We have the opportunity to adapt the play to a movie as we have dreamed from the start. This will be filmed by Southerners, about Southerners and the truths of our Southland. When we began writing and producing the play, we had two contributors who helped us get started. In order to film the play we need your sponsorship and support. We are not only making a movie of the play, but we are opening eyes to a world of history and truth by offering a "Facts and Finds" booklet with each purchase of a DVD. This book will include scenes from the movie with important battlefield information and clues about the monuments. A questionnaire will be supplied to mail in for the answers and more information about each featured site. Plus an added bonus of "Heritage Moments". These short "Heritage Moments" will feature places to visit, areas that need to be preserved or historic facts about a person or place.

If you would like to help with the filming of Solders in Gray, please contact us.

Thank you for your support over the years. Please help us reach this goal to help people learn about and understand our Southern Heritage. Education is our main goal. We appreciate your prompt reply.

Sincerely,

Stan Clardy
