The one man musical historical play, "Soldiers in Gray, A Musical Journey",  was produced, recorded and written by Stan. He and his wife, Cathy have been traveling the south since 1998 performing the play for historic groups, reenactments, living history organizations and family reunions.

The play is about a soldiers life before, during and after the War Between the States 1861-1865. This soldier is a Confederate everyman, a fictional character whose story is based on written facts and personal letters of people who endured this fight for the south; starting with the thunder of the threatened south and ending with discovering a treasure - a heritage treasure. CDs and cassette tapes of the original music from the play plus three other CDs/tapes,  "Southern Stars",  "God Save The South" and "Wayfaring Stranger". Available to order from this web site www.stanclardy.com. He also performs period music and historical programs for fairs, schools, memorials and civic and historical groups. He and his wife, Cathy, join together for school programs and storytelling of great southern classics with a cute handmade possum puppet, Mr. Bobby Lee OPossum.

In May of 2003 Stan released his first book, "TimeLight a journey into the past" a fictional historical account about the Confederate submarine H. L. Hunley, the War Between the States and the siege of Charleston during 1863 - 1864.

Stan loves creating music for that period in time, and he has a cd of music inspired by the book. "TimeLight Music", A soundtrack to your imagination.

Looking toward the future!

Exploring space - Imagination for future explorations!
Stan and Cathy Clardy will come to your school or group to perform a combination music and information program about how space touches our daily lives. All ages! This program is not just a facts and figures presentation, but a lively and fun experience that shows how imagination and determination can make dreams come true. Learn how a young boys' daydreams in a cherry tree led to footprints on the moon, missions to Mars and beyond. See how benefits from space exploration make everyday life better. We answer such questions as; How do you get from the Earth to the Moon and back again?  What resources can we use to discover more about space?  When can we see International Space Station when it passes over us?

Stan closes the program with songs including his award winning "Big Blue Sky", which has been played aboard the International Space Station, and "I Need My Space". Length of program can be adjusted for time and grade level.
